I've been an EU spouse for 23 years, with postings in Ethiopia, Namibia, Palestine and Lebanon. I have been a committed member of EUDPN/EUFASA since 2004. Despite many obstacles, I have always managed to find a job during my postings. My focus is therefore on improving the overall employment situation of delegation partners and boosting their employability.

I have been an EU spouse for 31 years, and advocating for spouses almost as long. After seven delegations we are back in Brussels, and I look forward to continuing my cooperation with EUDPN. My key priorities are to improve the general well-being of posted families, especially safety in the countries of posting and in their homes. It has been very rewarding to work with EUDPN.

I am an EU spouse for 13 years, knowing the challenges of accommodating the whole family on postings and in Brussels. In 2023, I volunteered as a Delegation Liaison Officer (DLO) in Cambodia in the new pilot project of EUDPN & EEAS. Back in Brussels, I am keen to share my cross-cultural experiences and my legal background to help other spouses prepare for a delegation.

I am an EU spouse for more than 25 years. I have been to Ethiopia and Burkina Faso, returned to Brussels last year where I joined EUDPN. In 2024, EUDPN started a new welcome group, “EUDPN Partners in Brussels”, which comes together once per month for coffee or cultural activities. Here, you can meet other EUDPN partners, share experiences, discuss problems or just have fun!

I am from Latvia, currently posted in Guinea Bissau. Previously, I was a Member State diplomat for 25 years, posted in Stockholm, Lisbon, Rome and New Delhi. I've been a devoted member of our Latvian Family Association since its foundation - my area of expertise is social security for diplomatic spouses. I joined the EUDPN Team because I believe that together we can raise awareness and make a difference.

I am an Australian/Albanian engineer/builder professional as well as tech-savy. My first delegation has brought me to Bejing, China, where I am very active within the spouses & partners community. I co-founded the EU Diplomatic Spouses Circle and contribute regularly to EUDPN's branding and marketing efforts.
